Most mulch passes through a few hands before it reaches your garden. Ours doesn't. It's grown, cut and mulched on our family farm at Teven, by the people who answer the phone.

Laid at 75mm, the mat blocks the light weed seeds need to get going. One good load in late winter heads off the spring flush before it starts.

What is tea tree mulch?
Tea tree mulch is a fine, fibrous garden mulch made from tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia), the same native plant grown here in the Northern Rivers for tea tree oil. Ours is grown, cut and mulched on our own farm at Teven, near Ballina, with nothing added.
How long does tea tree mulch last?
A properly laid 75mm layer lasts 12 to 18 months in Northern Rivers conditions before it needs topping up. The fine fibres knit into a mat that stays put through heavy rain and coastal wind instead of blowing or washing away.
How much mulch do I need?
One cubic metre covers about 13 square metres at the recommended 75mm depth. Measure your beds, or use our mulch calculator, and call us: we will help you land on the right load size before we book your delivery.
